Abstract. Foliar application of Asahi SL and Tytanit in cultivation of rosa multiflora rootstocks has a positive after effect on quality of one year old rose shrubs of ‘Flamingo’ cultivars. Obtained grafts have a higher weight and more second branches. Three times spraying with Asahi SL in concentration of 0.1% and Titanium in concentration 0.01% is enough to get heigh quality grafts. Higher frequency of spraying does not increase the quality of shrubs.

Summary

An after effect of Asahi SL and Tytanit used in cultivation of rootstocks on quality of one year old rose shrubs of ‘Flamingo’ cultivar was examined in a field experiment conducted in the years 2002-2004. Spraying rootstocks three times had an after effect on a shrub weight and a number of second branches of the examined cultivar. Increasing number of sprayings in cultivation of rootstocks to six did not have an aftereffect on the quality of rose grafts.
